How far would you be willing to go for your midlife crisis?
Am I really doing this? The concept, the idea, the vision of just where this journey might take me is still fresh enough that I still need to pinch myself in order to make sure it's real. It's a journey many dream about on a daily basis, yet so few of us ever get to make it happen. I want to be one of those who do.
On October 2nd, 2023, I intend to set off on a one-year journey around the globe, a voyage of discovery, to find who I really am. With just a backpack, my laptop, and a head full of curiosity (as well as a massive weight of fear and nerves), this simple author will leave Australia for the very first time and travel to multiple countries as I not only find who I really am but also who I once was. As part of my journey, I'd love for you to join me, and as such, I have started a YouTube channel titled "An Author and a Backpack", where I will be sharing my journey as often as possible. And while I will be carrying my trusty laptop right beside me, I also hope to share some eye-opening adventures along the way.
Writing will still be an important part of my day, and as such, I will be continuing to release books throughout the year. You, the reader, have been an integral part of my writing journey so far and it is for you I endeavor to continue releasing books, regardless of where I am in the world. Whether in some jungle cabin in Bali or beside an active volcano in Iceland, writing will continue to be the constant in my life.
